Helmi Arrak is a painter and furniture designer based in Tallinn/Tartu. She studied painting at the University of Tartu and furniture design at the Tartu Art College.

Helmi Arrak on Karlova multitalent, kelle maaliloomingut võiksime eelkõige armastada selle igikestva visandlikkuse pärast: tema marieantoinette'id, bowied, hüäänid, koerad jt armastust otsivad tegelased on alatasa kujunemas kellekski-millekski järgmiseks. Ta suhtub oma kangelastesse äärmise empaatiaga, mistõttu on vaatajail neid hea endaga kaasas kanda.

Arrak on sündinud Tallinnas 1988, ta lõpetas 2010. aastal Tartu Ülikooli maaliosakonna ning õpib praegu Tartu Kõrgemas Kunstikoolis mööblidisaini erialal. Ta teeb illustraatorina aktiivselt kaastööd Müürilehele, on illustreerinud president Toomas Hendrik Ilvese biograafia ning teinud plakateid mitmetele eesti artistiele. Tema disaineriloomingust võib leida vineerist rattakorvid ning graafilise siiditrükiga kimonosärgid.
